The Italian Solution
"The Italian Solution" is a 24-minutes long documentary about the new immigration laws of Italy and its impact on African refugees. Since living conditions in many African states are not getting better fast enough thousands of people stream to Europe every month. Many refugees hope for a better jobs and a good life in Europe, but are not aware of the fact that Italy's economic situation also gets fierce and fierce. Not only that many poor Italian people are starting to blame the immigrants for their poor economic situation. The old game of hatred and hostility against foreigners is starting again. The Northern League (a right wing party of Italy) gets more and more votes - and has recently started "citizen patrol groups" who are meant to "help" the police. It seems things are getting ugly down in Italy... again …
