Young and restless in China

Today, October 1st, China celebrated its 60th birthday. Still, a comparably young country, it has been changing rapidly during the last two centuries.

China is considered to be a country of young people. This PBS Frontline documentary takes a closer look to nine young chinese citizens and their hopes, dreams and careers. A lot of them, the socalled 'returned turtles' have been living abroad for a while, before returning to their home country and pursuit a career there, in Beijing, Shanghai or another of Chinas numerous huge metropoles.

Nine people, nine lifes, nine parts. Really interesting and in some way eye-opening, as we not only learn about the standard young and successful business men, but also about the impact, the increased internet use has and how a chinese rapper is trying to find his way a.s.o.
