The 4 ways sound affects us
Julian Treasure, chairman of Sound Agency, a company advising businesses on the use of sound for commercial and advertisement purposes, is giving this short TED talk about how auditive information affects our psyche, physical and cognitive behaviour.
Illustrating his argument with quite a few well-known examples (Nokia's obnoxious brand chime being one), he does get his point across - appropriate soundscapes help you make money, flawed ones don't - but doesn't really tell much new.
